The Icon brand of braid is a top notch performer in all applications I have tested so far from light lure flicking up to heavy bottom work. Icon braid suits fish from King George Whiting to Yellow Tail Kingfish and with its hi-vis yellow colour it’s easy to see when tying knots to fishing in low light conditions.
Icon Braid incorporates Spectra Fibres known for incredible knot strength, long life and long casting with a thin diameter which allows the angler to use heavier breaking strain without the problem of a thick line which increases wind and water drag plus it has near zero stretch.
Whether using spin or overhead reels you will not be disappointed with Icon Braid as it suits all fishing requirements of today’s anglers.
D.A.M. Calyber

The German designed and engineered D.A.M. Reels in the new Calyber range come packed with features and quality parts found in many of todays higher end reels but at an affordable price suiting most anglers.
The new Calyber range of FD reels come in two models, the Red highlighted 6 ball bearing reel and the Blue highlighted reel with 8 ball bearings plus a machined handle and handle screw cover.
These reels start with the small Red 618 FD model (= 1000 size reel) right up to the Blue 880 FD reel which holds 260 yards of 25lb mono line.
The FD reels alternate sizes with the models. There are 8 reels in the range to suit all applications from extra light spin to heavy bottom bouncing or surf work.
