Water Resistant, designed to be attached to your existing fishing equipment. Easily connects to most rods, ranging from the smallest spinning rod (4mm in diameter), to the largest surf casting rod (35mm in diameter). It is so simple to setup that you don't even have to cut the tackle from your line to attach it.
What Information is Displayed?
Upper Display
Calculates the exact length of line out, indicating:
Distance between you and your tackle or hooked fish
Distance of cast.. Trolling Distance behind boat..
Exact Water depth (when fishing from boat/platform)
Lower Display
Calculates the retrieval speed of lure/line, allowing:
Accurate repeatability of a sucessful speed of retrieve
Indication of optimum speed of bait or lure movement
Bait Movement/Freespool Alarm -Any outward line movement will trigger the alarm to sound. The faster your line moves the faster the alarm will beep. Allows you to distinguish between wave/current
Strike Alarm- Alarm is triggered by the slightest line movement. Alarm automatically shuts off when you begin to wind in the line.
Strike Zone Indicator- You can set a target depth or distance range on the unit. Unit will indicate when your tackle is in the set zone.
Home Signal- Unit gives a "Home Signal" when tackle is wound back to rod tip. For silent fishing all sounds can be turned off.
Line Loading-Used when loading new line onto reel. Measures exact amount of line loaded.
"Tackle Tracka" is recommended for use with line classes 2kg (4lb)- 15kg (30lb) or lines of a diameter greater than 0.13mm. Not recommended for use with fly fishing equipment.
